Making Stamps: Tiger

I love carving animal blocks and since it's Global Tiger Day, I sketched out and carved this guy this morning.

Continuing with these reduction screenprint trials, here's my tiger design.  I did a print run of 15 prints for each of these just to confirm I could repeat the process.

 

 

Le Tigre Heureux

It's been a nice holiday weekend with lots of creative endeavors in my studio.  I got the urge to paint a happy tiger.  The piece is on canvas, 18"x 24", and I used acrylics, gouache, pens, graphite.
