Bird Silkscreen Prints Series Part 2 by Andrea Lauren
This post follows part one in the Bird Silkscreen Prints series. Here's a look at the Crane, Peacock, and Toucans. Each of these prints has five colors and were screen printed by me in my studio; they are all in an edition of 25.
Thanks so much Emily! It was an experiment with that blue for the toucans and I am really happy with the result! Since printing on black paper requires a white bottom color, I played around with leaving out the white for some of the foliage and it allowed for a neat contrast and depth!
That blue on the last print is stunning! So vibrant!
